What is the typical timeline to complete my window covering design project?
Most window coverings can be produced and ready to ship within 2 weeks, while others like shutters and draperies can take a couple of weeks longer. Shipping times vary depending on the product line and usually arrive within 5-6 business days after production is complete.
We provide you with an up front expected timeframe for completion including the shipping timeframe so you can feel comfortable in scheduling you project around your families activities. We also offer temporary paper shades at no additional charge for privacy during the production and shipping phase.
Are your window coverings child-safe?
Absolutely! The safety of our customers, and especially children, is our top priority. Our window coverings comply with government regulated industry safety standards, offering various Best-for-Kids options including cordless operation and motorized systems. See our operating system options here.
How can I determine which window covering design style suits me and my home?
Our consultants are trained to assist you with your product design, by asking relevant questions and with a keen eye on your home's existing design. Our objective is to listen to what your needs and wishes are to provide you with the options and design that works best.
What warranties do you offer with your products?
Our products come with a limited lifetime warranty from the product supplier and may vary by the products and options ordered. We provide a written warranty for each order.
How do I clean and maintain my window coverings?
Care and maintenance instructions are included with each product. Generally, regular dusting and with select products occasional spot cleaning are sufficient. Refer to the care guide on our website for detailed instructions tailored to each type of window covering.
Can I provide the measurements for my order?
You can certainly provide measurements for your window coverings, however since we take full responsibility for your product's accuracy, one of our consultants or technicians will verify all specs including the measurements before placing any orders.
We do this to protect you from any type of mistake that might arise in the process. Since all or our products are custom made to precisely fit your windows, there is no recourse for inaccuracy in the measurements. There's also no charge for us to do this for you, so it's a win-win for you.
Can I order samples before making a purchase?
Absolutely! Our consultants will bring a variety of samples to each consultation to assist you with the best design. If after your design appointment is complete you still need samples, you can request these from your consultant to ensure your material and color choices match your design.
Can I return or exchange my window coverings if I'm not satisfied?
Unfortunately this is not an option.
We provide to you at no cost, a trained design consultant along with all the necessary product samples to best ensure you'll be satisfied with your new window coverings. However since our industry is full custom, once any product is ordered the materials are set into motion to be custom cut and assembled to your order's specifications and cannot be returned or re-stocked and cannot be used for any other clients orders.
If you feel that you may not be fully satisfied with your purchase then we recommend that you ask for more clarification before continuing with your purchase. We will always do what we can to accommodate your request for more information. All orders are sold as no-return and no-exchange.
Can I order custom window coverings for uniquely shaped windows?
Absolutely! We offer customization options for various window shapes and sizes. Your consultant will assist with the specific requirements and guide you in designing a custom product for each specialty window shape.
Do you offer installation services, and what is the cost?
Yes. All of our products come with professional installation by a trained install technician. The install cost may vary depending on products ordered, the quantities, on-site logistics and the complexity of the install. The cost is noted directly on each quote.
What materials are used in your window coverings?
Our products are made from the highest quality materials available including wood, fauxwood, fabrics, plastics and metals. Each material has unique properties, providing a range of options to suit different preferences, styles and applications. Our consultants and install techs can answer any questions you have regarding each product.
